Australian dessert brand Happy Pops has been granted its first franchise in Toowoomba, marking a new phase of growth for the eight-year-old business as it looks to expand beyond its Queensland base.

Founded in 2018 by Augusta Puttkammer and her husband Ian Puttkammer, the family-owned business opened its first store in Noosa and has since grown to three company-owned stores in Noosa Heads, South Brisbane and Mooloolaba.

Today, Happy Pops produces and sells all-natural, handcrafted gelato, sorbet and yoghurt pops, with its products also available at Bluey’s World, which was the brand’s first wholesale launch.
