Father’s Day spending tipped to reach $730 million as retailers call for more support
Father’s Day spending is expected to reach $730 million, despite continued pressure on household budgets, with the Australian Retail Council (ARC) calling on consumers to back retailers.
The ARC released its findings in partnership with Roy Morgan, stating anticipated spending across the Australian economy will peak around $730 million as families set sights on the perfect gift for fathers.
The figures reveal a combined $10 million rise or 1.4% spend uplift from 2025, despite the drop in individual household spend.
